Open the application
Choose the loan in Loans, then open Application (1003). The application is organized into sections for borrower information, employment and income, assets and liabilities, real estate, the loan and property, declarations, and other application information.
Enter borrower information
Work through the section navigation. Complete the relevant fields and add repeated records, such as employers or assets, where the section offers that control. Review conditional fields when an answer reveals additional questions.
For a joint application, use Borrower record to switch between the primary borrower and co-borrower. Confirm which person you are editing before entering details.
Save your work
The workspace supports draft saving and Save now. Watch the save state before leaving the screen. If saving fails, keep the page open, check the error, and retry after resolving it.
Review validation
Resolve the validation messages shown in the workspace. Required data can depend on other answers, so review the full application rather than only the first section. Sensitive information and export controls depend on your permissions.
If a migrated file shows Legacy data not carried over, review the displayed information and enter the supported details in the appropriate application sections.
Submit the application
Use Submit application when the application is ready. Address any errors returned by submission. Submission hands the application into the review flow; it does not record an underwriting approval.
Generate lender files
Use Download URLA PDF or Export MISMO XML when available. Read application exports for downloads and validation.
Borrowers have a guided question flow. Share Complete your application with them when needed.
